Accompanying him were chairman candidate Shanti Swaroop, former minister and Haryana Lokhit Party (HLP) chief Gopal Kanda, district in-charge Ved Phulan, former MP Sunita Duggal, election in-charge Dura Ram and district president Shishpal Kamboj.

Phulan, who was handling the microphone, requested the CM to address the crowd, but he deferred, saying he would speak later. However, the CM remained silent for the entire roadshow.

During the event, Swaroop stood beside the CM on the campaign vehicle, while 32 councillor candidates were transported in separate pick-ups.

Though CM Saini did not address the crowd, he spoke to the media and claimed BJP’s victory, stating that a “triple-engine government” (Centre, state and local) would accelerate development. He also mentioned his recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where they discussed Haryana’s progress in detail.

Before the roadshow, CM Saini attended the ring ceremony of a local Congress leader Rajkumar Sharma’s niece, who is engaged to BJP state president Mohanlal Badoli’s nephew.

Meanwhile, the Chautala family, which had been absent from election campaigning until now, made a last-minute appearance. Karan Chautala, chairman of the Sirsa Zila Parishad, joined INLD candidate Om Prakash for a roadshow in the markets, urging voters to support their party.
