In a shocking incident in the Bhuna area of Fatehabad district, a private school van was hit by a truck, leaving three children and the van driver seriously injured. The accident took place while the van was dropping children home after school. At the time of the incident, 15 children were inside the van. Fortunately, the rest of the children are reported to be safe.

According to the information, the van, belonging to a private school in Nehla village, was being driven by Surajmal. He was on his usual route after school hours when the accident occurred. Farmers in a nearby field were burning crop residue and the thick smoke spread across the road. The smoke reduced visibility, making it difficult for both the van and the truck drivers to see clearly.

Due to the poor visibility, the truck crashed into the van. The impact caused serious injuries to driver Surajmal and three children seated in the front row. The rest of the children escaped without injuries but were frightened and began crying after the accident.

Eyewitness Surender Kumar confirmed that the injured children and the driver were sitting in the front. The driver received injuries to his legs. The residents rushed to the scene, helped the children out of the van and informed the school management and the police.

The injured were first taken to the Bhuna Community Health Centre (CHC) and later referred to a private hospital in Hisar for better treatment. Meanwhile, the remaining children were safely sent home in another vehicle arranged by the school.
