Truck unions have opened their offices in thickly populated residential and commercial areas of Narwana. While loading or unloading goods or material, truck drivers park their vehicles haphazardly, leading to streets getting blocked for hours. As a result, residents often find it difficult to pass through such stretches. Besides, the sound created by truck engines causes disturbance to the residents. The authorities concerned should relocate the offices of all truck unions outside the city premises to provide relief to the residents. Ramesh Gupta, Narwana

A road connecting Balewa village to Khalilpur railway station in Gurugram has been in an extremely poor condition for long. The foggy condtions these have added to the commuters’ woes as they have led to an increased risk of accidents here. The authorities concerned should take note of the problem and ensure that the road is recarpeted on priority.

Intersecting roads full of potholes
An road leading to Greater Faridabad via a bypass here has been damaged for over a month. Despite heavy vehicular movement on this passage daily, its maintenance has been neglected by the authorities concerned. A foot-deep pothole that has formed on the stretch should have been repaired by now. Are the authorities not concerned about the commuters’ safety? Subodh Grover, Faridabad
