Trust BJP once more and you will never repent, says Khattar ahead of MC elections
As the ongoing campaign for the civic elections is nearing its end in Gurugram, the BJP got its star campaigner —
Union Minister and former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar — along with party president Mohan Lal Badoli, to make a fervent appeal to local voters.
Khattar, while addressing a public rally in favour of Manesar mayoral candidate Sunder Lal Yadav, urged people to trust the BJP yet again.
"You have seen us work for 10 years and trusted us both in the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections. I urge you to trust us once again and go for a triple-engine government. Nobody will then be able to stop the development bandwagon," said Khattar.
Yadav said that it was Manesar's first civic election and the town needed to start its civic governance journey with a tried-and-tested option, which is BJP.
"Manesar civic issues need deep understanding, dedication and most importantly, experience. The BJP has all three. People have seen us perform across the state and we are confident they will choose us," said Yadav.
Meanwhile, Badoli reached Ward 15 to support woman candidate Bharti Harsana. He said that the BJP had fielded women candidates in a majority of the wards as it strongly believed in enhancing the participation of women leaders in governance.
"This civic election in Gurugram for us means improving participation of women who are equal partners in the city’s development. They have their own vision and perspective, and we believe that they can take development further with more energy," said Bhadoli.
Harsana, accompanied by CM's wife Suman Saini, said that the party had a women-centric resolution and believed in empowering women voters. Harsana claimed that over 300 members of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and local societies had pledged support to her.
