The police have registered a case against two persons in connection with an objectionable social media post against Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh.

On the complaint of Sher Singh of Guru Nanak Pura of Jagadhri, a case has been registered against two persons, Praveen Kumar and Praveen Singhal, under Section 295-A (intent to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) at the Sadar police station, Jagadhri, on Monday.

The complainant said a person, Praveen Kumar, had uploaded an objectionable post on his Facebook ID against the Sahibzadas on February 18.

He said another person, Praveen Singhal, had commented “super” on that post.

Anant Ram, SHO, Jagadhri, confirmed that a case had been registered against two persons.
