Those suspended include police post incharge SI Nirmal Singh, ASI Jasbir, ASI Surinder, ASI Surinder Singh, Head Constable Krishan and Constables Gulab, Ravi and Dalbir.

State Agriculture Minister and Radaur MLA Shyam Singh Rana expressed displeasure over the incident, instructing SP Rajiv Deswal to ensure that all culprits involved in the shooting are arrested swiftly. “No one will be allowed to disrupt the law and order situation in the district or state,” the minister said.

The incident occurred around 8 am on Thursday, when the victims came out of a gym and were preparing to leave in their car. Four to five armed individuals arrived on motorcycles and opened fire indiscriminately. While disputes related to liquor vends and gang involvement are suspected motives, the police have yet to confirm the exact cause.
