As per the information, the firing incident occurred at 5 am at Aman Hotel in Shahabad, when two bike-borne miscreants opened 20-25 rounds of fire. The miscreants reportedly entered the hotel and opened fire, and later fired outside the hotel too. While no injuries were reported in the incident, the windshields of a couple of cars were damaged. The miscreants also left a note with a contact number at the hotel’s reception.

An extortion bid is suspected to be the reason behind the firing. The police are yet to comment on the involvement of the gang behind the firing incident.
