Sonepat, November 18
With the arrest of Sonu and Azad of Bhawar village in the district, the total accused nabbed in the case relating to impersonation in an online written examination for the recruitment of constables in the Central Reserve Police Forcehad gone up to seven.
According to the police public relation officer, both the accused were produced in a court here today and were sent to two-day police custody for further investigation and arrest of others involved in the case.
Other alleged accused arrested by the special team of the police include Sachinder of Jalmana village in Panipat district, Suresh of Kharak village in Bhiwani district, Anil Kumar of Pandwal village, Yogesh of Ranila village in Charkhi Dadri district and Pradeep of village Gangana in Sonepat district.
On August 27, on the written complaint of Sanjay Kumar, Commandant, 51 Central Reserve Police Force Battalion at Chandigarh, a case was registered in Rai police station in the district against Anil Kumar, Sachinder, Suresh and Yogesh for impersonation in the online written examination and they were arrested.
Their interrogation led to the arrest of Pradeep of Gangana on Saturday and his interrogation resulted in the arrest of Sonu and Azad on Monday.
