Investigations into the Faridabad terror module have revealed two additional hideouts linked to Dr Muzammil, who is accused of aiding the Delhi blast conspiracy. Officials found that he had rented a house near Al Falah University under the pretext of trading in Kashmiri fruits, and had also stored bags of ammonium nitrate at a farmer’s property for nearly 12 days.

According to sources, Muzammil had taken a three-bedroom house with a kitchen and hall, located around 4 km from Al Falah University, for Rs 8,000 per month from April to July 2025. The house belongs to former Khori Jamalpur village sarpanch, Jumma Khan. He confirmed that he rented the accommodation to Muzammil, who had visited the house multiple times with a woman doctor.

The NIA, which is probing the Delhi blast case, took Muzammil to Khori Jamalpur village and questioned the former sarpanch for several hours. During questioning, Jumma told investigators that Muzammil claimed he wanted to begin a Kashmiri fruit business and needed space to store consignments. “He wanted to import Kashmiri fruits and supply them to the local market,” Jumma reportedly told officials. After about two and a half months, Muzammil vacated the house, saying it was “too hot there.”

Jumma said he first met Muzammil and Dr Umer Nabi at Al Falah Hospital, where his nephew was undergoing cancer treatment. “He had vacated my house only after around three months. Despite 15 days of unpaid rent, I did not demand payment, considering him a doctor. Muzammil removed all items he had brought, including a mattress, cooler and bedsheet from my house. I rented out my house on faith but never suspected that he was a terrorist,” Jumma Khan told The Tribune.

A woman who accompanied Muzammil during the rental process was introduced as a family member, but police sources identified her as Dr Shaheen Saeed of Al Falah University. Muzammil reportedly visited the house with her several times.

Investigators also found that Muzammil had stored ammonium nitrate and other materials in a room on farmer Badru’s land near Fatehpur Taga for about 12 days. Badru later asked him to remove the items, fearing they could be stolen. The materials were then shifted to a room belonging to cleric Ishtiyak in the same village.

Meanwhile, a WhatsApp chat between Dr Adil — a colleague of suicide bomber Dr Umer — and a hospital official has gone viral. The conversation suggests that the accused doctors had begun preparing for the blasts months in advance, even using their own salaries to buy explosives. In the chat, Dr Adil is repeatedly seen requesting his wages, saying he “desperately needs it” and would be “grateful” for the transfer, while also sharing his account number.
