Two PG courses commence in Gurugram University

Gurugram: Gurugram University has signed an agreement with International Skill Development Corporation, London, UK, to provide students with job-oriented vocational education. The MoU was signed on this occasion by the University Registrar Dr Rajiv Kumar Singh and the ISDC Zonal Head Vikas Khosla. The goal of this MoU is to provide entrepreneurial skills, education and vocational training to the students. Two new PG diploma courses in business analytics and digital marketing will be introduced at the university from the session 2022-23.

Five-day workshop for staff held

Ballabgarh: A five-day faculty development programme on ‘ICT Tools for non-teaching staff’, which was organised by the Department Of Computer Science of the Aggarwal College, concluded here. The college principal Dr Krishan Kant Gupta said the objective of the programme was to enhance e-resources usage and IT skills of the non teaching staff. The attendees were instructed in topics such as advance excel data validation, filtration, what-if analysis, statistical formulas, office automation and awareness of the Internet with Google apps.

Ashoka varsity, MyHealthcare ink Mou

Sonepat: MyHealthcare has partnered with Ashoka University to build evidence-based, clinical research in the fields of hypertension, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. The partnership aims to research and build clinical models that will help deliver better care outcomes. Professor LS Shashidhara, Dean of Research and Professor of Biology, Ashoka University, said, “We are committed to education, training and research on growing lifestyle diseases and use evidence based models to create effective preventive care medicine. The outcome of our partnership with MyHealthcare will help in deepening our research and help catalyse the growth and awareness of preventive medicine.”
