Two school students murdered in Rohtak

Rohtak: In separate incidents, two school students were murdered in Sunaria and Girawar villages in the district on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Mohit (17) of Sunaria and Sahil (16) of Girawar village. The reason behind the murders is yet to be ascertained while the police have started investigation. TNS

UP policeman killed, five injured as SUV hits tree

Karnal: A constable of the UP Police was killed, while five other police personnel were injured, as the SUV of the police collided with a tree near Modipur village of the district this morning. The deceased has been identified as Sumit (30) of Ghaziabad, while Sombir, Deepak, Davinder, Sunil and Rahul are among the injured. TNS

Clerk dismissed for hiding information to get job

Karnal: Kaithal Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pradeep Dahiya has dismissed clerk Kuldeep Singh, posted in the Revenue Department in Dhand, for allegedly getting the job by submitting false information that no one from his family was a regular employee in any department, board, corporation, statuatory body of the state or the Union government. Besides, the DC recommended criminal action against him. TNS
