Two vehicle thieves held in Hisar city
The CIA Staff has arrested two persons for their involvement in theft of electric scooters in Hisar.
The accused have been identified as Aman from Adampur and Rajesh from Khara Barwala. They were arrested in a scooty theft case, which took place on January 14.
During interrogation, the duo revealed that they were involved in several such theft cases and the police recovered 11 electric scooters from their
possession.
CIA In-charge Karan Singh said the accused were arrested on a complaint of a woman, whose scooter was stolen on January 14. He added that both the accused had a criminal background.
Aman, who was imprisoned for scooter theft, was released on bail on February 6. He has two cases related to two-wheeler theft at the Azad Nagar police station and one under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act
in Rajasthan.
On the basis of their interrogation, the police recovered stolen scooters from several areas, including two from Urban Estate, two from Civil Lines, two from the City Police Station area, one from Agroha, two from near Madhuban Park and one from the Court Complex.
Both accused were produced before a local court, which remanded them in judicial custody.
