Two Yamunanagar men burnt to death in US road accident

Yamunanagar, August 9

A man and his nephew belonging to Hartaan village of Yamunanagar district were reportedly burnt to death in a road accident at Oklahoma state in the US.

The deceased were identified as Rohit (23) and his nephew Prince Kumar (23). A pall of gloom descended on the village as the heart-rending news spread.

A family member, Tarsem Kumar, said that his cousin Rohit had gone to Canada on a study visa about two and a half years ago. He said that his other nephew, Prince Kumar, also went to Canada on a study visa about two years ago. He further said that they drove trucks in Canada, but they had gone to the US with a goods-laden truck.

“Prince was driving the truck and Rohit was resting inside the truck. When they reached near Tulsa city of Oklahoma on August 7, their truck met with an accident. The truck caught fire and they were burnt alive,” said Tarsem Kumar. He said the family got to know about the sad news through a known person on the night of August 7.
