Umed Lohan joins Cong
Chandigarh: Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) former national secretary Umed Singh Lohan on Wednesday joined the Congress in the presence of ex-CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son Deepender Hooda here. The JJP had expelled Lohan from the party during the Assembly elections. He was upset as the JJP had given ticket to Ram Kumar Gautam from Narnaund. Before the JJP, Lohan was with the Indian National Lok Dal. Lohan said the JJP joined hands with the BJP, though it used to oppose the party’s ideology. “It is a fraud with people, especially those from Deswali belt,” he said. — TNS
