A seminar on “University to start-up: igniting young minds to innovate” was organised to mark Engineer’s Day and National Technology Day at CRS Auditorium, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, on Monday. The event was sponsored by the Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, Haryana.

VC Narsi Ram Bishnoi was the chief guest at the event.

Dr Gurjit Singh Walia, Scientist ‘F’, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, was the keynote speaker; while Naveen Gabrani, founder and CEO of Austria IT Services, Noida, was the guest of honour.

As part of the programme, Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering organised a model exhibition and quiz competition inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, where 28 student projects were showcased.
