A 20-year-old youth was allegedly murdered by unidentified accused in Sector 10 A area. His body, with injuries on the mouth and head, was found lying in the bushes in Kadipur industrial area on Wednesday morning. An FIR has been registered. The cause behind the murder has not been ascertained yet.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Yash Babu (20), a native of Urdu Nagar, Firozabad district in Uttar Pradesh. He lived with his family in Heera Nagar colony here. It was on Tuesday evening at around 5 pm, he left his house to meet a friend but did not return till late at night. The family searched for him but could not found him.

On Wednesday morning, a passer-by informed the police about a dead body lying in the bushes in Kadipur industrial area. After getting information, a police team reached the spot and took the body in custody. There were injuries on the mouth and head, hinting that he was stoned to death.

The family members of the deceased reached the spot and identified the deceased. The police handed over the body to the deceased’s kin after the postmortem.

Police spokesperson said investigation was on and the accused would be arrested soon.
