Upasana takes charge as Kaithal’s SP, vows zero tolerance against graft

A 2017-batch officer, she had earlier served as Kaithal SP between September 18, 2023, and August 17, 2024.
Speaking after taking charge, the newly appointed SP said her top priorities would be women’s safety, tackling drug abuse, and maintaining law and order in the district. “A zero-tolerance policy will be followed against corruption. The police system will be further strengthened to ensure crime prevention, effective control over criminals, and protection of public life and property,” she said.
She emphasized that strict action would be taken against drug traffickers and cyber criminals.
Meanwhile, as part of the ongoing Sewa Pakhwada programme, Kaithal police organised a blood donation camp at the police lines on Wednesday. The camp was inaugurated by newly appointed SP Upasana. A total of 70 units of blood were collected during the camp.
