The DREAMS project is expected to foster multidisciplinary research collaborations in Northern India and accelerate innovation in advanced materials, reinforcing the KU’s growing prominence in scientific research.

Prof Sanjeev Aggarwal said the grant, awarded under the ANRF-PAIR (Partnerships for Accelerated Innovation and Research) programme of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), positions the KU as a spoke institute under the mentorship of IIT-Ropar (hub institute). The project aims at advancing cutting-edge research in advanced materials, with a strong focus on energy solutions and waste management for societal benefit.
