Vice President offers prayers at Bhadrakali Temple in Kurukshetra

Vice President CP Radhakrishnan on Sunday offered prayers at the Shaktipeeth Maa Bhadrakali Temple in Kurukshetra. On this occasion, he prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people. He was accompanied by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

During the Vice President’s visit, following tradition, the temple’s head priest, Pandit Satpal Sharma, held the puja for him. Vice-President Radhakrishnan bowed his head in reverence at the Shaktipeeth.

During his visit to Kurukshetra, the Vice President enriched not only the religious atmosphere, but also highlighted the cultural and historical heritage of the region.
