Vij said a hydraulic vertical lift, with a seating capacity of 40, had been installed at the museum, being built to commemorate the heroes of the 1857 war of Independence. With nearly 150 artists, workers and officials engaged in the construction, the work is being carried out at a good pace.

"Each time we visit, we find something new. Today, we viewed a presentation through the video gallery and inspected the open-air theatre. Provisions for ramps, staircases and lifts have been made at multiple locations. Additionally, two high-speed lifts have been installed to take visitors to the 12th floor, where a sky cafe will be developed,” he said.

There was a plan to request all schools in the state to bring students to the museum on a roster basis to educate them about the real history of the 1857 struggle.
