Narnaul MLA and former minister Om Prakash Yadav emphasised that villages would now be developed on par with cities, while inaugurating development projects worth approximately Rs 65 lakh, including new roads, a library and other infrastructure works, at Badkoda village on Saturday.
Yadav said that the BJP-led government was ushering in development across the state, leaving the opposition without any real issues to raise.
“In the past 11 years alone, development projects worth crores have been executed at Badkoda village. Looking ahead, a district-level stadium will soon be constructed over 12 acres of land in the village, which will greatly benefit the local youth,” he announced. The MLA further added that the BJP government led by Nayab Singh Saini was ensuring balanced and inclusive development across Haryana.
On this occasion, the former minister also planted a peepal sapling and urged the public to take advantage of the monsoon season by planting more trees to promote a pollution-free environment. “Each individual must not only plant trees but also take responsibility for their care,” he said.
