Gurinder Singh Dhillon, leader of Dera Radha Soami Beas, visited Dera Jagmalwali to pay respects following the passing of Vakil Sahib. Accompanied by the new Beas successor, Jasdeep Singh Gill, the Beas dera head arrived at the Mastana Shah Balochistani Ashram via helicopter.

During the visit, Dhillon met the new dera chief of Dera Jagmalwali, Virendra Singh Dhillon, and ceremonially tied a turban on him. He gave Virendra Singh the duty of carrying forward the responsibilities assigned by the late dera chief. These duties include initiating “Namdaan” (spiritual initiation) and holding “Satsangs” (spiritual discourses). Gurinder emphasised spreading love and reconnecting those who have strayed, urging everyone to embrace unity without harbouring hatred.

The visit lasted for about two hours, during which the leaders discussed various matters concerning the ashram. Dhillion advised that the ashram continues the path laid out by Vakil Sahib, focusing on devotion and selfless service.

A large congregation gathered to witness the event. Dhillon, along with Virendra and Jasdeep, met the devotees. Senior figures from the dera, including Jathedar Baljeet Singh Daduwal, trustees and members of the grievance and management committees also met Dhillon.

Following the death of Vakil Sahib, Virendra was appointed as the new leader, but his relative Amar Singh Bishnoi also claimed the position, resulting in violent clashes. The chief’s family confirmed Virendra as the successor as per the will. Supporters of Amar Singh demand a CBI investigation into the former chief’s death, leading to protests in Delhi.
