Addressing a rally at Gagsina village in the Gharaunda Assembly segment, Congress MP Deepender Hooda today said, “Your each vote will not just elect party candidate Virender Rathore, but will also ensure that Bhupinder Singh Hooda becomes the CM of Haryana for the third time.”

Issuing a stern warning to those who might betray the party for personal gains, he said, “The people will not forgive those who plan to betray in this battle of truth.”

He said the Congress always stood for unity. “Vo todenge, hum jodenge,” said the MP.

Highlighting the issue of unemployment, Deepender slammed the BJP for providing only temporary jobs through the “Rozgar Kaushal Nigam” and termed it as a “murder of the Constitution” by ignoring merit and reservation policies.

“This government has abolished permanent government jobs. The employment crisis have worsened under the BJP. The youngsters are forced to go abroad by risking their lives through donkey routes,” he said.

Referring to the deaths of 750 farmers during the Delhi stir, he urged the residents to teach a lesson to the BJP. He also condemned saffron party for violent crackdown on employees demanding old- pension scheme and ASHA workers.

He asked why no BJP leader had ever spoken against the injustice meted out to Haryana’s wrestlers.  He praised the Supreme Court for intervening in this issue and asked the people to vote for change.

Mocking the BJP’s “double engine” government, he said, “The double engine has totally failed.”

He assured to restore old-pension scheme, fill 2 lakh job vacancies, provide LPG cylinder at Rs 500, Rs 6,000 pension for elderly people, 300 units free electricity and Rs 2,000 per month to every woman.

2 rebels extend support to Cong candidates

Independent candidates and Congress rebels from Nilokheri Rajiv Gonder and Sunita Battan from the Pundri Assembly segment in Kaithal rejoined the party and extended support to Dharampal Gonder and Sultan Singh Jadola, respectively.

MP Deepender Hooda claimed that JJP candidate from Nilokheri Karam Singh has also extended support to the Congress.
