Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Singh Hooda said the Baroda bypoll was the semifinal of the Assembly election and the win of Congress candidate Induraj Narwal would work to overthrow the BJP-JJP coalition government.

Hooda along with Induraj Narwal was interacting with mediapersons in Gohana on Saturday. He said though the BJP had crores of rupees and was misusing the government machinery for publicity, Narwal had the love of the people of the Baroda constituency.

Deepender said EVMs would mandate the change in the state with the win of Narwal. Taking a dig at the BJP, Hooda said the saffron party had fielded a long list of star campaigners, leaders of other states and the entire government in the Baroda constituency to face the son belonging to a common family, but the people had made their mind to teach a lesson to the BJP, he said.

Narwal while interacting with mediapersons claimed that he would win. Besides, Deepender also held a meeting of party workers and began implementation of his electoral strategy on the ground.

“This bypoll is a semifinal of the Assembly election and the people of Baroda will decide the future government in the state,” Hooda said.

He also gave duties to party workers and said every party worker should get involved in the campaign.

Every worker should consider himself to be Deepender Hooda and move among the people and seek their support to overthrow this government, he said. — TNS
