Wanted criminal arrested by Gurugram police

The police had announced a reward of Rs 20,000 on his head as he was previously facing cases of attempt to murder and smuggling of arms.
The in-charge of the crime branch of Farrukhnagar Sub-inspector Manoj Kumar said he received information through reliable sources that a criminal was roaming near Gymkhana Club in Sector 29, Gurugram city. He immediately reached the spot and managed to arrest Vijay Kumar alias Kala, a resident of village Beri, Jhajjar district. He said that a criminal case was registered against him under the relevant sections of the Arms Act at Police Station DLF City, Sector 29, Gurugram city. Further, investigations were in progress.
