A board has come up on a footpath at Ambala’s Sector 9, obstructing the movement of pedestrians. There is heavy traffic on the road, but due to the board, pedestrians are forced to step down from the path onto the busy, dangerous road. Several senior officials cross this path daily, but no one seems to take any action. The administration should take cognisance of the issue and ensure that the board is removed at the earliest in the interest of the general public. —Gian P Kansal, Ambala
