A deep pit has been spotted on the pedestrian path on the road leading from Amadakar Chowk to Sector 46 in Gurugram. It can be dangerous for commuters and morning walkers. It is surprising that stakeholders and the authorities have not taken cognisance of the issue. The administration must look into the problem and fill the pit at the earliest. Gian P Kansal, Gurugram

Stray animals cause of concern

STRAY animals, especially cows and bulls, are found blocking traffic in every town and city of the state. Residents of Narwana town have had many bad experiences with stray animals and many accidents and attacks have been fatal. The Model Town area and the road from Luxmi Cinema to Nehru Park are the worst-affected spots. People are afraid to come out of their houses for even most urgent work. Civic authorities must take the initiative and get rid of this problem. Devinder Singh Surjewala, Narwana
