The traffic lights at Manav Chowk, Ambala City, are lying defunct for the past many years, causing poor traffic management and accidents. Unauthorised parking in front of the shops and showrooms create further problems for the commuters. For the smooth flow of traffic, the traffic lights should be repaired. The district administration should take cognisance of the matter and ensure that the public money is not wasted.

Gen-set non-functional at Narwana Civil Hospital
Since the gen-set at the Civil hospital here has been non-functional for more than four months for want of repairs, the hospital premises get shrouded in darkness in the evening. In the event of power failure, all emergency services like X-ray, lab tests, surgical procedures are hit and patients are forced to approach private clinics that charge exorbitant charges from hapless patients. It is shocking how an important facility like a gen-set becomes an uphill task for the Health Department to get it repaired.
