What our readers say: Kaithal roads waterlogged
I want to draw the attention of the authorities concerned towards the persistent issue of waterlogging on our city’s main roads. After even a brief spell of rain, the streets transform into mini-lakes, causing difficulties to vehicle drivers as well as pedestrians. The stagnant water becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Effective measures must be taken to address these concerns. Vaibhav Sharma, Kaithal
Narwana park cries for maintenance
THE only public park in Narwana is poorly maintained. People come here to get some fresh air in the morning, but sadly, it is full of garbage and fifth. There is hardly any grass or flower beds. Algae and fungi can be seen floating in water tanks. The local municipal authorities should take prompt action. RAMESH GUPTA, NARWANA
STREETLIGHTS NON-FUNCTIONAL
THE Civil Lines road joining the main road to the DC residence area in Sector 13 of Kurukshetra remains shrouded in darkness as the streetlights are either non-unctional or these are covered by trees. The authorities concerned should take note and act.
SAVITA SUDAN, KURUKSHETRA
Is a civic issue bothering you? Are you agitated over the lack of concern? Is there something heartening that you feel needs to be highlighted? Or a picture which in your opinion ought to be seen by many, and not just you?
