MONKEYS have been wreaking havoc in Sector 3 (Part 1) of Rewari. They pose a risk to area residents, especially those living near Shishu Shala School. If doors are left unlocked, these simians enter houses in search of eatables, and sometimes even break lids of water tanks. The authorities concerned should take necessary action to curb the simian menace in the area. —Neha Depti, Rewari

Defunct ‘Tiranga’ lights in Narwana

about two years ago, the local Nagar Parishad took the initiative to install ‘Tiranga’ (Tricolour) lights on electricity poles to beautify the city. However, due to the poor quality of these lights, most of them have since broken down. It seems as though the officials are not concerned about these defunct lights. The authorities concerned must ensure that all such lights work so that people are not inconvenienced. —Ramesh Gupta, Narwana
