IN the absence of designated night shelters in Narwana, homeless labourers and beggars are forced to sleep in the open at market corridors, railway station platforms and other public spaces in this biting cold. Many lack warm blankets and elderly individuals, who are particularly vulnerable to extreme weather, risk succumbing to the cold. Illegal dairies endangering public health
Unauthorised dairies operating in residential areas are posing serious health risks. Cow dung is often flushed into sewer lines, leading to frequent blockages and the spread of diseases. Additionally, accumulated dung has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Despite promises by ruling party leaders to relocate these dairies, no action has been taken. Wrong-side driving has become a common sight in various parts of Yamunanagar and Jagadhri. This reckless practice is causing numerous accidents and traffic jams daily.
