IN the absence of the proper collection of garbage, setting garbage on fire near the Ambala Cantonment bus stand in the late hours has become a common practice. Fruit sellers and other residents set the garbage on fire. Action should be taken against the civic bodies for the garbage being burnt in the open. Strict measures should be taken against the violators.

Illegal garbage dumping points in Sonepat

The Municipal Corporation is spending crores of rupees on the cleanliness of the city but due to the improper lifting of garbage by the private companies, several illegal garbage dumping points have come up near Shani temple and many other places. Heaps of garbage can be seen here all the time. The MC officials should take stringent action against the private company for its negligence.
