No floodlights at grain market in Narwana
There are no floodlights in Mela Mandi here at night which is the main grain market, full of paddy arrivals, resulting in complete darkness everywhere. This encourages thieves from adjoining villages to steal bags full of paddy at night in thick fog. At many places, the boundary wall is broken and the gates also remain open in the absence of any watchman. The local MLA and police officials have been informed about this problem, but in vain. The HSAMB should install floodlights, boundary wall should be rebuilt with proper lockable gates so that commission agents can sleep peacefully at night. —Ramesh Gupta, narwana
