What our readers say: Web of wires poses danger to lawyers
The UHBVN has made such a web of single live wires of hundreds of electricity meters around the lawyers' chamber complex that even a small short circuit can cause a major accident, due to which files of the lawyers, wooden furniture and other valuables kept in the complex can burn to ashes. The district administration as well as the UHBVN must pay attention to this problem with immediate effect.

NH-152: Smooth drive a distant dream
The Kaithal- Ambala NH-152, constructed by the NHAI, provided big relief to commuters. However, the happiness of those plying vehicles on this Highway was short-lived as the department started repair on one stretch or the other soon after opening this highway to traffic, which continues even now. The ongoing the construction of about a dozen vehicle underpasses (VUPs) and diversions to facilitate the construction of VUPs between Ismailabad and Ambala on the national highway have become a major irritant and are causing great inconvenience to road users. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and senior functionaries should take note of the ground situation.
