What went wrong with Trade Tower Market in Haryana's Sirsa?
The Trade Tower Market in Sirsa was built more than a decade ago on the land where the old Civil Hospital once stood. Shopkeepers were promised a modern amenities with many facilities like parking, clean water and good sewer system. They were shown a nice plan. Many traders took shops on rent, hoping to do good business from here. But years passed, and the promised facilities were never provided. Shopkeepers kept paying rent, but the market conditions did not improve. They felt cheated and raised their concerns with the local government and leaders. Now, they want justice and better conditions. They have asked a minister to visit the market and solve their problems. The Municipal Council admitted that there were issues in the market and efforts were on to solve them soon.
