Will fill 2 lakh vacant posts if Congress comes to power in Haryana: Ex-CM

Former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today promised to fill nearly 2 lakh vacant government posts and to make Haryana a drug-free state if the Congress returns to power in the state.

Besides, he reiterated promises to raise social security pension of elders to Rs 6000, free electricity upto 300 units per family, LPG cylinder at Rs 500 for women, free plots of 100-100 sq yards for poor families and construction of houses on these plots.

Hooda was addressing a Jan Aakrosh rally at Kalayat grain market organised by former minister Jai Parkash. Hooda also promised “yellow-coloured ration cards” for poor families and reinstatement of the old pension scheme.

He along with Congress state unit president Udai Bhan and Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda attacked the government over “deteriorating” law and order situation across the state. Hooda promised to keep a check on criminals when they would come to power.
