Addressing a press conference, he said this year, the commission declared results for a total of 56,830 candidates, of which approximately 36,000 results were successfully announced in just 56 working days.

Talking about the commission’s achievements and initiatives, Singh said the commission had utilised social media platforms to raise awareness among candidates and linked them with the commission's official website. For the first time, candidates could directly contact any officer of the commission via phone or message to register their complaints.

He said the commission strongly advocated for the interests of the candidates in court regarding the delayed recruitments. Singh shared that a total of 266 cases were filed concerning the results of 24,000 recruitments announced by the commission, and 418 cases were filed regarding the TGT exam results, on which the commission is taking swift action. The commission successfully conducted 28 exams in just 56 days. The remaining exams would also be conducted soon. The state has released the largest result of 24,000 candidates, said Singh, adding that compared to previous years, this year saw the highest number of youth being provided employment, with 56,830 selections.

Sharing the details, he said in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the recruitment was done on 2,780 posts, 2,229 posts, 8,403 posts and 20,141 posts, respectively. In 2019, as many as 34,649 posts were filled. In 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, the recruitment was carried out for 8,694 posts, 3,651 posts, and 16,366 posts, respectively; and in 2023, at least 838 posts were filled.

The chairman said the commission had decided to make an annual exam calendar. Besides this, a grievance portal would be launched for complaints, where a specific time frame for resolution would be fixed, and candidates would receive updates via messages. If any candidate disagrees with the resolution provided, they would be able to file a grievance again on the same issue.

Singh further shared that ‘Samadhan Shivir’ would be organised to resolve court cases. The provision for OTR (one-time registration) for candidates will be introduced. He said pending exams would be conducted, and remaining results would be declared. Coordination with departments would ensure that issues related to joining are resolved on a priority basis. He said the commission was making efforts that every information was easily available to candidates and their complaints were resolved sitting at home.
