Harmanpreet Singh, who is contesting election from Ward15 said, “We have been going door to door to meet people and seek their support in the election. The community members and leaders have been giving a positive response and I am confident that they will give me an opportunity to represent them in the committee. We have struggled for years to get the separate Gurdwara committee in Haryana, but it was being run by the government nominated members. We aim to improve the functioning of the committee, improve educational institutions being run by the committee and health facilities besides providing scholarships to talented students.”
