A video of a young woman filming a reel while sitting on the roof of a moving SUV near Shankar Chowk on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway has gone viral, prompting a police investigation.

In the 33-second clip, recorded on a rainy day, the black vehicle is seen travelling along a flyover on National Highway 48. The woman is seated atop the vehicle with her legs hanging over the front windscreen, casually striking various poses while filming herself with a mobile phone.

The video appears to have been shot by an individual in another vehicle trailing the Thar. After capturing the footage, the vehicle overtakes the SUV. The vehicle’s hazard lights are seen blinking throughout the clip.

Despite the danger, the woman appears relaxed and unconcerned as she continues recording her video. The vehicle bears a Badshahpur Authority registration plate.

A police spokesperson, Sandeep Kumar, confirmed on Thursday the video was filmed on August 2. “The accused is being traced. This is a blatant violation of traffic laws, and action will be taken as per legal provisions,”
