Woman’s body found wrapped in blanket
The body of an unidentified woman was found wrapped in a blanket near the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal highway flyover at Mehandipur Daboda village of Bahadurgarh area. The body bore injuries possibly inflicted by a sharp weapon, raising suspicions that she was murdered.
The body was recovered late on Monday night after a passerby noticed the blanket lying on the ground and found the body inside it. He immediately alerted the police, which rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation, calling in a forensic team to gather evidence. Preliminary reports suggest that the victim, believed to be around 35 years old, had sustained multiple injuries.
Inspector Brijendra Singh, incharge, Sadar Police Station, Bahadurgarh, said police teams were actively working on the case. “Efforts are on to identify the body. The cause of death will be ascertained after the post-mortem,” he added.
