Faridabad, July 27
The Congress in the state has emerged stronger after the recent Lok Sabha elections and is set to form the government again with the help of the women power.
Addressing a function ‘Nari-Nyaya Chaupal’ organised by party leaders at Ballabgarh here today, Deepak Babaria, in-charge of the state unit of the Congress, said that the women in the state seem to have made up their mind to bring about change in the state government as they have been victim of not only inflation, corruption but also the poor law and order situation in the state.
He alleged he was confident that women power would be a major factor behind the change in government in the elections as they are fed up with the misrule of the BJP in the past decade.
The function was organised by Sharda Rathore, former MLA from Ballabgarh Assembly segment and a ticket aspirant from this constituency.
Claiming that while the Congress is the only one party which takes care of the interest of every section of society, Babaria said special focus would be given to the issues related to women in the party’s manifesto for the Assembly poll.
Alleging that the BJP had failed on all the fronts, he said Haryana had become a frontrunner in matters of unemployment, drug addiction, corruption and inflation, making the residents suffer due to the wrong policies of the state and the Union governments.
