Addressing the gathering, the jathedar asked the sangat to lead their lives according to the teachings of the Sikh Gurus and the principles of Sikhism. The gurdwaras are the centers of Sikh preaching and their management must remain in the hands of the Khalsa Panth in accordance with panthic sentiments. Sikhs will never tolerate any interference by governments in gurdwara management or related affairs, he said.
