Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar on Monday urged government school students to work hard and focus on their goals to achieve success in life.
He was speaking at the Pariksha Pe Charcha-2025 programme, organised by the Education Department at Government Senior Secondary School, Kanipla.
Panwar said, “Sometimes students of government schools take too much pressure and believe that only the students studying private schools in cities can become the IAS, IPS officers and doctors. They often believe the misconception that they can’t become successful if they study in government schools. I have appealed to students to get rid of such misconceptions. Several alumni of government schools have cleared UPSC and other competitive examinations. There are hundreds of people who have become IAS and IPS officers after studying in government schools. Therefore, parents should send their children to government schools for education.”
Earlier, Panwar said students should not be mentally stressed, and ensure that they attend classes regularly and take part in sports.
He said children should focus on their daily routine and should not show any kind of carelessness.
The Cabinet Minister said all students should set goals and move forward in the right direction. If children were facing problems during exams, they should share it with teachers, parents or friends.
Former Minister of State Subhash Sudha said students needed to be stress-free and focus only on exams, as students who prepared well without taking stress got good results.
