Arvind Khurania, panel advocate and master trainer, DLSA, Kaithal, said the workshop was organised under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kaithal, Subhas Mehla; and under the supervision of Kanwal Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-DLSA Secretary.

Khurania delved into beneficial provisions for road accident victims and those who assisted them — including Good Samaritan protections, cashless treatment during the ‘golden hour’, increased compensation for hit-and-run victims, and simplified claims processes.

These measures aim to encourage bystander assistance, ensure timely medical care, and provide financial support to those affected by road accidents. About 250 trainees and staff members attended the workshop.
