Wushu coach murdered in Jhajjar village
A 30-year-old Wushu coach, identified as Jai Prakash, was hacked to death by unidentified persons at his home in Barhana village on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. He lived there alone.
The exact reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained while the kin suspect the involvement of some co-villagers in the crime. The police have started an investigation.
Vikas, brother of the deceased, said Jai Prakash had been a state and national-level player of Wushu. He had been training the youngsters in the game at the village stadium.
“We rushed to Jai Prakash’s house on getting information about an attack on him by someone at his house post 1 am. We called the ambulance and rushed him to the government healthcare centre in Dighal village where he was declared dead,” he added.
