Yamunanagar, Jagadhri residents urged to take part in Swachh Survekshan
The Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MCYJ), is carrying out a number of activities to get better ranking in the Swachh Survekshan.
The residents of Yamunanagar and Jagadhri are being made aware about cleanliness through awareness programmes, rallies, competitions and wall paintings. Now, the MCYJ has started making people aware about giving online feedback for good ranking in the Swachh Survey.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr Vijay Pal Yadav said the MCYJ was at the second spot in giving feedback and efforts were being made to bring it to the first place in the state.
He also held a meeting with the team and personnel engaged in the Swachh Survey yesterday. He asked the employees of the MCYJ to go door to door to make the citizens aware and inform them about filling online feedback form on the Swachh Bharat Mission Urban Portal.
He instructed every worker to get feedback of more than 50 people daily.
He said on the instructions of Municipal Commissioner Ayush Sinha, several activities were being done by the MCYJ to get a better rank in the Swachh Survey.
“Citizen’s feedback also has points in the Swachh Survey. The more citizens give feedback, the more points the MCYJ will get. On the basis of these points, it will get a better rank,” said Dr Vijay Pal Yadav.
He said all residents living in the MCYJ should give their feedback on Swachh Bharat Mission Urban portal.
