The MC had provided safety kits to the workers, he added, stating that the kits had had a reflector jacket, gloves and other items.

“Now sanitation workers will be seen wearing these jackets and gloves while cleaning. There will be no risk of accidents while cleaning at night due to the reflective jackets. Keeping their health in mind, the workers have been given gloves to wear while picking up garbage,” Sinha said.

Chief Sanitary Inspector Sunil Dutt said kits were recently given to workers of zones 1 and 2.
