On the occasion of International Yoga Day, this time a state-level Yoga Day function will be organised at Bhiwani on June 21. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will be the chief guest.
To make people aware of yoga, a day before the ceremony, a marathon will be organised at Bhiwani’s Bhim Stadium. An official spokesperson said at least 10,000 yoga practitioners would do yoga together in this state-level programme. Separate marking will be done for children’s yoga practice and so that their seating can be ensured.
He said a magnificent ‘rangoli’ on yoga would also be made in front of the main stage. He added that sufficient number of large LED screens would be installed at the venue so that each yoga asana is visible to every yoga practitioner there.
