The newly appointed Haryana Youth Congress president Nishit Kataria launched a scathing attack on the BJP alleging that the ruling party came to power through “vote theft”.
Addressing party workers at Gandhi Chowk, Kataria alleged irregularities in the voting process, asserting that the party would conduct a detailed survey of electoral discrepancies across the state and submit its findings to the Haryana Election Commission.
“As our leader Rahul Gandhi has shown the entire nation, the BJP captured power through vote theft. But now, we will fight this battle with full strength. The Youth Congress will not stay behind. We will take to the streets unitedly and raise every issue of public interest with courage and determination,” said Kataria while leading a protest march over “vote theft” in the city on Sunday. A ‘stop vote theft’ sticker campaign was also launched during which stickers were pasted on vehicles to spread the message.
The newly appointed state president said that the Youth Congress would play a decisive role in exposing the government. “In the coming days, you will see that the Youth Congress will stand firm on every issue concerning people’s rights. We will not retreat,” he said.
Kataria praised the local unit for its commitment. “The way you are working in Karnal is commendable. I expect you to continue with the same fearlessness and strength, and play a crucial role in safeguarding our Constitution,” he added.
District Youth Congress president Rajat Lather welcomed Kataria, saying, “We are proud to have such a strong leader as our state president. Under his leadership, Haryana Youth Congress will reach new heights.”
