According to Sharma, the marathon aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, encourage fitness and foster a positive and healthy lifestyle among young people. It also seeks to build a drug-free environment and promote sports and community engagement.

Following the success of the recent cyclothon in Sirsa, the administration expects a large turnout in Dabwali. Arrangements regarding the marathon route, venue and security are being coordinated by the officials concerned.
